Billing

The recurring prices your customers can subscribe to. A plan is an amount and a cadence — nothing more.

Creating a plan charges nothing: it only defines the price. It is subscriptions that attach customers to it, and the charges then fire automatically at the plan's cadence.

Activating and deactivating

Deactivating a plan prevents new subscriptions; the subscriptions already on it continue. That is what lets you withdraw an offer from the catalogue without interrupting existing customers.

A plan is not deleted — its past subscriptions have to stay readable.
